entering nest holes. One property is known to support 7 breeding pairs and at least two others 5 pairs. This huge population is of national importance and benefits greatly from its proximity to Woolston Eyes and its high insect numbers.
The houses are a mixture of terraced and semi detached. it is a large former Council Estate with some properties now privately owned. |
